We partnered with a highly regarded contractor, Scotia Property Services, to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of a flat located in the picturesque Meadows area of Edinburgh. This project was particularly exciting due to the unique challenges presented by the property, which required not only aesthetic enhancements but also structural improvements to ensure longevity and comfort for future residents. As part of the refurbishment process, we laid down 100 square meters of high-quality plywood as a foundational layer to prepare the floor. This step was crucial, as it provided a stable and level surface that would enhance the durability of the flooring installation. Following this, we installed the exquisite Herringbone flooring from @howdensjoinery, a choice that reflects both modern elegance and timeless style. The Herringbone pattern, known for its distinctive zigzag design, adds a sophisticated touch to the interiors, creating a visually appealing flow throughout the space. To achieve a seamless finish, we took great care to ensure that the flooring was expertly cut around all the original woodwork and fixtures, preserving the character of the flat while enhancing its overall aesthetic.
